Birthday Week!

Danny turned 30!! I can't believe we are getting so old!

We went on a family dinner to Tepanyaki and Emma LOVED the show. She keeps asking to go back to the fire-place! All Danny wanted for his birthday was to be with his family so that is what we did. We love our Daddy! Happy Birthday!

Typical Emma/Danny picture!

Next was Emma's birthday! She's 4 now! Goes so fast!
This is at preschool where she got to celebrate her birthday early!

All Em has wanted to do for her birthday was go to "Pirate Stone" (Pirate Island Pizza). Easy enough! So family and close friends joined us for her celebration.

The ginormous pizza!

My gourmet funfetti cake that sank in the middle.
Really I am much more talented than that!

Love these two! I can't believe in one week my baby turned 4 and my hubby is now 30!

Emma showin off the goods!
Movie from Nana and Rudolph from Burnham kids!

The day we babysat Lindsey she had Santa at her preschool so I took the girls for a quick 30 second visit! What the girls asked for:
Lindsey: Ruthie
Emma: A doggie-reindeer doctor kit (huh?)

Look how incredibly cute Emma looked going to school today! It was the last day of school for the year and she was so excited to give her teachers their Christmas presents. Aunt Jill sent her this adorable and very special outfit; moms and teachers were stopping me in the halls asking where I got her clothes she just looked so adorable! Thanks Aunt Jill!!!!
(she had to pose with something, so the glittery ball was her item of choice!)

Thanksgiving favorites

Thanksgiving is always a special time and we always love it when we get to escape the hustle and bustle of shopping and the holidays and spend a couple days down in Manti with Danny's family. His brother Chris and wife Jen own a B &B down there and we get to take it over and play games, cook yummy food and just be together for a fun holiday! This year was no exception. We are so blessed and I love that we get to spend thanksgiving day relaxing and enjoying the family we are so incredibly lucky to have. I missed my side of the family terribly that day, but it was nice to focus on the joy and love we share with Danny and his siblings. We missed Bruce and Georgia, Greg's family, Jill's family and Steves family left early, but otherwise it was a really great holiday! Here are some of my favorite pics!

A few randoms!

We had our first and only snow of the season. It lasted one day. We are still waiting for more! Emma woke up and had to go out and play in the snow immediately! We built a snowman with our neighbor and really had a good time! Especially considering I dont like the cold and snow!

Our next house guest was Tiffany and baby Jack! Here Emma is helping Tiff give Jack a bath. She LOVED having him here! I dont know where all my pics from their trip went to. We threw a fun shower for this beautiful baby boy...it was such a fun visit! We love babies!

We started our Christmas crafts as soon as you could find them in the store! Love this pic of Linds and Em..they have so much fun together. They are such little best friends!

Nana and Halloween

Nana was here for a whole week!
What a treat since I could not make it to Cali this Fall.
Nana was so excited Emma finally got a big girl bed so they could snuggle and read books together. New favorites: If you threw a Pig a Party and If you take a mouse to the movies.

Here we are after the ward trunk or treat. Earlier in the day we had made chocolate dipped marshmallow pops.

Is that a vampire?!? Nope, just Emma taste testing the project.

Nanas are always full of good ideas! Em loved this one!

Here is Em at her school Halloween performance. You have to enlarge the picture to get the full effect. My child is so animated in EVERYTHING. Such a performer. She sings and dances everyday. Her Hello Kitty CD player is the favorite toy. She has at least 15 CDs and will sing and dance to them all! She has even made up little dances to some!

So proud of her bat girl costume. In fact so am I! I made it! And it looked amazing if I do say so myself! I laughed when her cousin Alyssa told me "her costume looks homemade." Yes I made it and it looked cuter than ANY store bought costume out there and there is a lot of love in that bat girl cape. My mom used to make me costumes and I am going to make her costumes as often as I can!
Thanks to my amazing neighbor Josey for helping me!

The worker at this station kept telling me Em's costume was her favorite there.
Yes I am proud...can you tell?
At our neighborhood pre-trick or treating party. Soups, friends and a hay ride!

We have so much fun on Halloween! Especially when we get AWESOME weather!

Can you say spoiled? Now this is trick or treating in Style!
Our Fall has been so busy and fun with lots of house guests and family events! The first to come were my parents. We had a great weekend with my dad, he went to a football game with Danny, we has an amazing brunch at Sundance (a new favorite for their visits) and Emma just got to spend some quality time with her Pop pop. My mom stayed to enjoy the week of Halloween activities!
hummmmmm.....

Emma cannot get enough of her grandparents!

Our plan was to ride the chair lift but it had closed until ski season :(
We did that the month before and she LOVED it and really wanted to
take her Nana and Pop pop on it. She was disappointed to say the least!

Guess who wanted to be Bat Girl for Halloween!

I am sitting here trying to pick pictures to post and all I can concentrate on is the adorable little whisper coming from my kitchen table where the Bug is busy being creative. I wish I could understand what she is saying to herself, but it sure is cute either way! I promise I am posting an update!

Viva la.....!!!!!

Brothers in Vegas!!!!
We were lucky enough to have a quick weekender in Vegas for the game with our besties Jen and Morgan. Steve and Randy also made the quick trek to the game. Not my destination of choice but we did get a few fun things in for me! It really was fun though! Amazing company, great seats and a little break from the kiddo! Thanks Cindy!

Shopping at the outlets! Did NOT get enough time there!

Hotel hopping! There is just such a fun atmosphere here!

PHOTO OP!!!

At the game. And yes for all your McIffs that IS a BYU shirt I have on!!!!

Thanks to Jen's dad for the awesome seats! We had so much fun!

Da Boys. Apparently Steve missed the "don't smile" command!

On our way home Morgan demolished this 5x5 at In n Out! It was impressive. He did it before Danny even finished his double double!

Scrabble saved us on the way home. I win every time. No one can beat me.

My cousin Paige came for a visit in September.
It was a blast to spend one on one time with her!
